Vision Statement:

We strive to be a loving and open family, experiencing and sharing God’s love for all people, by generously serving Hudson and beyond.

Mission Statement:

As part of the worldwide movement of grace known as the United Methodist Church we exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  We believe a great commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment will grow a great church, community, and world!

We believe:

that a growing faith compels us to be in service to others here in Pasco County and around the world.  Ministry of compassion is the heartbeat of who we are.

What Sets Us Apart:

We believe that a growing faith compels us to be in service to others here in Pasco County and around the world.  Ministry of compassion is the heartbeat of who we are.

Hudson First United Methodist Church operates one of the largest Food Pantries in West Pasco County and serves around 700+ households per week.

Another compassion ministry is our Stephen Ministers.  A Stephen Minister is a Lay Person who offers compassionate support in time of need, brings Christ’s healing love to each helping relationship, has been trained to extend pastoral care through a personal ministry of listening and reflection,  has been commissioned by the church to offer a confidential, Christ-centered, caring ministry.

Caregivers support group helps those who are caregivers to others.  They offer encouragement, resources, and tools to navigate the challenges that caregivers have.
