A Stephen Minister is a trained layperson who provides confidential, Christ-centered care during times of need. Through compassionate listening, prayer, and presence, Stephen Ministers offer ongoing support and reflect Christ’s healing love.
Stephen Ministers are not professional counselors. When needed, they can help connect individuals with appropriate resources such as pastors, medical professionals, counselors, or financial advisors.
Care is offered through an ongoing relationship, with confidential meetings typically held once a week.
